Speaking & Facilitations

Burnout’s not a moral failing; it’s a physiological state.

Genuine recovery and prevention start when we give people a tangible, felt-sense baseline of what it actually feels like to down-regulate their nervous systems…to experience being more at home in their bodies, rather than white-knuckling through the next hour, day, or week.

  • This is about moving from the "grind" into a way of working that prioritizes people’s energetic and physiological needs, so they can show up authentically in their work.

We stop pretending that people are machines, and build a culture that treats nervous system regulation as a non-negotiable part of the job description. This builds trust and safety, making room for more connection and synergy in high-stakes work.

  • When a practitioner moves from running on empty to a state of grounded presence, the shift isn't intellectual; it’s embodied. Supervisees and colleagues feel the shift, and clients do, too.

  • We live in a culture that perpetuates disconnection. Collectively dropping our thinking mind into the feeling body metabolizes stress and creates a buffer against vicarious trauma.

It also motivates people to protect their energy because they can finally feel the cost of losing it — and know how to get it back.

“Adair was very dynamic and showed great passion for her work in helping others. I have begun incorporating some of the principles into my everyday life.”
- Facilitation participant

“Adair is amazing! I felt confident and at ease as soon as I spoke to her. She worked to understand our needs, provide suggestions, and collaborate on a plan for the workshop.

Adair’s ability to connect with young people was so natural, especially considering the challenges of working in a virtual space…the feedback we received from young people was outstanding.”
- Alli Truesdell, UNICEF Canada

“I liked the language and attention given to the human experience.

Adair put the wonders I have about the connection between mind, body, and spirit into actionable and palatable practice, validating my own experience.”
- Somatic Processing participant

“Adair embodies alignment. As an educator she brings authenticity to the forefront. [In Adair’s group coaching program], I entered a container where I explored intentionality, mindful community, and how to apply healthy habits with curiosity and compassion.

Working with Adair has been an integral part journey into my own authenticity.”
- MS, LMHC

“Adair is such a great teacher because always she shows up as her genuine self – possessed of deep wisdom…and yet daring to be vulnerable and open to new experiences and ways of seeing and being in the world.

She embodies what it means to be a true advocate and ally for those who have survived trauma. She is supportive and creative and funny and adaptable and above all, deeply cares. She is a blessing in my life.”

- Mickey Sperlich, PhD, MSW, MA, CPM, FNAP

“I love learning from someone who shows genuine excitement about what they are presenting, like Adair did! Her passion is contagious!”
